Camera strap

Morning

took the camera strap off my camera last week and put it in the case and now i want the strap back on i have lost the little black bits for teh strap to loop back into.

Its a sony a300, does any one have the the little black bits? or know where i can get some from, dont really want to buy a new strap

you can get a cheap camera strap from jessops for £6.00. it might even have the parts on it you need.

One thing that i've wonderer, is what the black bits are for? They just seem to slide everywhere on all the camera straps i've owned. Now on an optech pro strap, and they do the same (although the strap is EXCELLENT).

I personally see no gain from using them?

Quick thought, surely some small zip ties can do the same job?

They are only to keep the ends from curling. In the old days we used the straps made for guitars, much more comfy.
