I recently bought a Sun Sniper camera strap, it worked very well for a while.
When using it one day the mechanism malfunctioned, my camera, ring flash went crashing to the ground, the threaded piece was still attatched to the base of my 7D, which seems ok and is still in good working order.
Unfortunatly the ring flash tube cover is cracked and the focusing lamp clip is snapped off.
I contacted the company, they have offered to replace the strap, or cash back.
Up to now they haven't addressed the damage caused to my equipment.
This has been going on for several weeks now.
I'm determined not to accept anything until the damage issue has been addressed.
They have accepted full responsibility for the failure by stating it was a "freak batch"?.
