Camera straps - eyelets?

Hi all,
I'm trying to find a couple of these - I think they are called eyelets, but I can't seem to find any on eBay (so I'm guessing they have another name).

Basically, they attach to the camera, and then you can thread a strap ending through them.

Anyone know what they are called on eBay?

If you look for split rings you should find some. Item number 181100491497 is for hama branded rings.

Uh, okay, thanks. It was more because split rings are available for 10 a penny that I made that comment.

Has anyone used normal circular split rings to attach a camera strap?

Almost all of the straps I have use circular rings. I think I only have a couple with triangles.

Cheers. I realised that I am using a strap with looped ends anyway, so the specific shape of the strap ring shouldn't matter too much - circular rings it is.

Thanks again - but it's the bit between the strap end (that you have linked) and the camera itself that I am looking for. Incidentally, it is to be attached to an Op/Tech strap end.

Yes. Try a fishing tackle shop for a range of sizes, good ones will be stainless steel and have a stated breaking strain.

Thanks for all the help. I went with some circular split rings made of stainless steel - which still worked out significantly cheaper than the Hama split rings, and I get 10 instead of 6.
