Camera to lens contact cleaning..

Getting a couple of contact errors of late.. need to clean camera and lens contact areas... whats the best method please?

use a cloth (on its own).. too simple.. heard pencil rubber as well? thought i better ask on here for best method

Isopropyl Alcohol cleans and leaves no residue.
