camera training DVD question

Hi, I have had a canon 40D I bought SH for about 9 months now and I am thinking of getting one of those training DVDs advertised on amazon. Are they worth the 23 odd quid?

I bought some after I got my 500D and thought them to be pretty good value. If you are as thick as a paving stone as I am you can watch over and over.

Blue Crane videos are fair dinkham IMO.

I have seen some youtube vids which are quite useful but might treat myself to Blue Crane DVD for Christmas anyway.
