Help! I am looking at imminently upgrading my camera from a 450 to a 5d mark 3, however, I worry that my lenses won't fit, especially my beloved ef-s macro lens.... what should I do ??

I'd say sell the 450d and 60mm macro and buy the canon 100mm macro for the 5d3. I'd suggest keeping the 450d for macro use but the 5d3/100mm should give better results than the 450d/60mm.

Unless you have more lenses you want to keep using, in which case just hold onto the lot. :)

I'd sell your EF-S lenses and go for the EF 100 macro for a 5D3. I've got the L macro and the 5D3 and I can easily use AF for most of the shots as it's so quick. There's some shots where MF is better obviously, but around 80% of mine are AF. Look into a ringflash or a flashgun and adapter for it though, the 5D3 doesn't come with a built in flash.

As above, your EF-s lenses won't fit the 5D, if you're keeping your 450D then keep hold of the lenses, otherwise, you'll be looking to sell them all on and upgrade as mentioned above ...
