hello,looking for a camo cover for a 300 f4 canon,any recomendations for suppliers would be appreciated,many thanks.haddock.
 
You could talk to your local gun shop about camo tape. I wouldn't recommend the sticky stuff as it can wreck the finish when it's removed but there are a couple of new types out. One is sort of rubbery and only sticks to itself as it's wound on - we had some of that earlier in the year and it all sold. I believe there's also a heatshrink product out now but I haven't seen it yet.

Yep I've got that stuff on my 400mm and 70-200 - great stuff, easy to put on and take off (doesn't leave any residue).

Yeah that stuff is great. Its called self amalgamating tape. We use it all the time for the plug on the motor of fully moving cctv cams we install. Great stuff and also provides weatherproofing for us (although i wouldn't take that to mean ur lens is now waterproof) :p

No, it's not self-amalgamating tape as it doesn't chemically bond to itself like SA tape does. It's just grippy and can be removed and re-used - try that with SA tape! ;)
