Can anyone recommend me a decent Wide Angle/Landscape Lens

Canon 10-22mm is very good although a lot of people consider the Sgma 10-20mm to be almost equal at a lower price
 
I like my Sigma 10-20 f/4-5.6. I've never tried it but the Canon EF-S 10-22 is normally recommended as well.
 
Less range than those listed above, but the Tokina 11-16/2.8 is a corker thanks to it's sharpness and especially it's corner sharpness.
 
also look at the tamron 10-24, I bought this awhile back but not used it in anger yet but it gives very crisp sharp pics

Another vote for the 10-22mm Canon. It's my most used, favourite lens. Non-L, and EF-S, but I use it more than my 24-70L and my 70-200mm f/4 IS L and if I had to take just 1 lens when travelling, it would be the 10-22mm. Super lens.

You'd really take it over the 24-70 L? That's interesting because I have the 10-22mm, a 50mm 1.4 and a 100mm IS L Macro, but I've been considering getting the 24-70L as a walkabout, because I don't want to have to bring a bunch of lenses on a trip.

Get a 15-85, wider, longer, lighter and excellent images, it'll make a better walkabout. :thumbs:
 
I can't really recommend this lens as I've never owned or used it however there have been some good reviews of the Sigma 8-16mm. It's the widest you can get on a Canon crop body.

If it were landscapes or scenics yes. If it were City shots, it would be marginal, in favour of the 24-70mm. These two lenses complement each other very well. If I could carry only 2 lenses, it would be these two :) It very much depends on your style of shooting. Moons ago, when I started, I used to prefer telephoto lenses, but these days I hardly ever pick up my 70-200mm. Depends on your type of photography and how much experience you have as to what you'll go for first.
 
Tried the Sigma - couldn't get both sides sharp at the same time. Now I own both the Tokina 11-16 and Canon 10-22. The Tokina is great for astro photography and no-flash interiors. But, in my opinion, its poor handling of flare really restricts its usability for landscapes. For that the 10-22 is way, way better.
