Got my new D40 which is great but why oh why are instructions / and manuals so bloomin difficult to get?
All I wanted to do was save settings so that when i flip to sport it shoots continuous and when I flip to auto doesn't. I took me an hour to find the Mythical "done" button which is tucked away under a thing "csm menu"
Course it is!
Then I find it saves the setting but to both sport and auto mode.
Except for the pictures of people running etc on the top dial could the manual be anymore evasive? ok so I have man flu and I've been up all day but even so I expected to be able to work it out.
Someone on here very kindly pointed me to the nikon tutorial but it still refers to things like" press done" without mentioning where it is.
How hard can it be to set two modes to have two different properties.?
And the likes of nikon and canon wonder why more people don't migrate from point and shoot people (like me) cos they are too daunted by the dslr's
rant over. tea ready. lemsip locked loaded and ready to go.
