can these be adapted?

It wouldn't focus to infinity without more optics lowering IQ, and it wouldn't provide APS-C coverage.

Why do you want one? Far better Nikon DSLR lens for that sort of money.
 
Isn't that a bit pointless? The mount is smaller for a start and you are more likely to get vignetting (I guess).

Sigma 10-20 or tokina 11-16 with mounts are around 300-400ukp mark..?*

I think I read that there is an adapter to covert the other way though, normal nikon to v/j lens mount.

Obviously i didn't know these things, that is why I was asking. I wanted to know because a 10-14mm zoom is £400-500 which i dont have but these Nikon 1 lenses are considerably less and something I could stretch to.

Ahhh I see...

What are you looking for a extra wide angle? or just wide.

The nikon J/V are I think) 2x or 2.7x sensor to the focal length. Your is a crop so around 1.5x or 1.6x.


I can recommend the tokina 11-16 but as you've posted, its pricey. You might be able to find a used one though.


A quick search of my favoured used place : nikon 10mm
and Sigma 10-20mm

I don't know if either will AF on your camera though.
