Can you get Canon cashback if you buy from an ebay power seller?

As long as they supply you with a valid UK receipt.

I was thinking of buying from Digigood and i'm sure i would get a valid uk receipt.
 
Hi, I bought a 70-200 mkII off them no receipt, But at the price they where asking I thought it worth the risk, Printed the paypal form off. This is an American firm.....

And it's a valid UK product, and not a grey import.

I don't know about with Canon, but when Nikon were doing the D300s + Free SB-900 deal, I just gave them a quick call to ask if the dealer from which I was purchasing qualified, and they said it did. Try giving Canon a call and get a definitive answer?
 
I just called Canon again and they said Ebay is not part of their cash back deal so they are out. They have also told me that Amazon market place is not considered either so i'll see what's out there.
 
That's probably because they can't regulate what gets put on eBay (or Amazon), but they can regulate what gets sold through their "authorised dealers" (because if they sell things they shouldn't, they won't be "authorised" for very long). :)
