Can you please recommend compact with large LCD for partially sighted

My father in law is 87 and has failing eyesight. A couple of years he got a compact so he could use the LCD screen as he can no longer see through a viewfinder. The LCD is 1"x 1.25" and he can no longer see that.
Can anyone recommend a compact with large screen, and here is the tricky bit, the budget is £100.

3" is the largest LCD you will get and its do-able for your budget if you shop around.

Good clear 3" screen so he is over the moon.
