Can you price up this lens please.

I have been offered the kit lens which came with a canon 7d, its brand new never been used 18 - 135mm inc hood.

What would be a fair price for both parties.

If you buy the 7D and 18-135 separately from WEX they'll cost you £1468, but if you buy them as a kit they'll cost you £1394, a 5% saving. The 18-135 sells for £324, so less 5% = £308, which is effectively what the seller paid for it.

Presumably it won't be boxed and there won't be a separate quarantee so I'd reckon about £250 would be fair.

There are many completed listings on ebay showing that lens going for about the £200 mark. I'd be inclined to make an offer of £180 and work from there.

Interesting, so its cheaper to buy as a kit rather than body only.

Will offer £200, its what i sold my Canon EF-S 17-85mm and wish i hadn't. Just hope this ones as good.

This one is New, never been fitted to a camera body and comes with a hood, so £200 is a fair price for a cheap walk about lens.

That seems a fair price, Park Cameras are offering unboxed ones for £249
