I know theyre rubbish pics but Im just chuffed to have seen this.
Id been for a walk in the local park, and a was stopped by a guy who asked if Id seen the owl, he told me where to go look and lo & behold, there it was.
It was very high up in the tree, shot in very low light as it was late, and hand held .... but I can see me going back to see if I cant get a better shot!

I had heard a pair calling one night when i came home from work from a late shift, managed to get within 2 meters and just stand and watch for about 10 mins before it was off.
