Can you still get slightly OOF/burred pictures with a VR lens?

From the Nikon Knowledge Data Base Rob. Seems the Nikon situation is much the came as with Canon....
...Stuff in bold...

ahh...cool...

I just don't bother on a tripod. Easier to remember...lol

For your kind of bird-stuff - well you know better than I, which is why I bow to your experience in these matters...

LOL.Truthfully, the first time I saw someone using long lens technique on a tripod I wondered what the Hell was going on. I suspect like me you associate a tripod with a cable release and slow shutter speeds and find the concept strange.

no no...we used it all the time in NI - those super-Nikons had to be treated like sniper-rifles at some of the distances we shot at...

You'd be amazed how many women in Belfast get naked with the curtains open...

LOL. :naughty:

t'was a ruse - they all knew where the OPs were located - soon as we saw something like that, an alert went out and everyone came up from the rest-room and manned all the cameras facing in all the other directions...

...while we filmed the 'action' for later 'assessment'...

LOL.It was very easy to get distracted with some of the static obs I've been on.

.
great list there...........

odd - but 2 common lens aren't listed...

kit 18-55 AF-S VR.......prob not on a tripod anyway
55-200 AF-S VR

Trig's

You won't but never give up trying :D

Thanks for the vote of confidence there as I was hoping to

For all lenses VR should be "On" when the camera/lens is used on a monopod

Haven't long sold mine as well...... As I didn't think it would have been needed :bang: - Will have to re-invest in another now & a tripod by the looks of things...
