And so the pictures flood continues :)

As I mentioned in the last instalment looking down from the mountain there are some pretty lakes just outside the town of Jasper.

We stopped briefly at Lake Beauvert which had a lovely distorted tree that was not only photogenic - you could sit on it!

Same tree but looking towards the golf course

Almost makes me want to take up golf.

Then we drove to another lake not far away - Lake Annette. This had lots of picnic areas but hardly anyone there!

Plenty of great views walking around it

Having completed a walk around two Eagles appeared just above the trees on the far bank. I rushed to the car and got the 100-400, came back and they were gone!
So consolation shots... Some mountain texture

And a girl that paddled her surfboard round the lake for a while.

Absolutely stunning pictures (again!).

Those lakes look so calm and still. Bet they're bloody freezing though!!!

A cracking set of piccies mate - well done!!!

PS - would love to have an itenary of your holiday with the locations - could fancy a visit to Canada myself, although with a little 'un on the way, it may be a long time yet!!!

probably the best pics yet from a very good set of pics from the colonies
how do you do it so consistently?!?

Nice shots again Rob:clap:

I don't do processing :)

Raws converted in rawshooter to best jpeg. Resized and posted.

Thanks for the comments :)

beautiful area very well shot, the points of view are magical and have me thinking of the low light possibilities there. Did you get a chance to take some late or early shots?
