I can see them, although they were slow to load.

Lovely set of nicely exposed and sharp images.
 
Thank you, I am not sure why some people can see them and some cannot? They are inserted via Flickr http maybe there is a problem there?

I like these the eye contact you have achieved makes all the difference, but as said already, candids they're not :)

The young lady looks a natural in front of the lens by the way :)
 
These are gorgeous....the light is SO good.
 
Thank you all for your kind comments, yes probably a bit to posed to be candids. I am always worried to use the word portrait as then people seem to expect great things and I am still a beginner/novice trying to improve all the time and learning from my mistakes. Most of all I love taking photos, addictive it definitely is :)
 
Looking forward to seeing some actual candids from you next :) It's very addictive indeed!
 
Vicky, would it be possible to number your images, it makes life so much easier when critiquing images.

Agree with all the positives, couple of minor niggles.

In 3 I would clone (or crop) that small dark triangle bottom left, and in No5 I'd consider a slight crop on the right, I feel you have just a bit too much OOF tree trunk for my eyes.

Overall a good set though.
