Canon 1.4 and 70-200 F4 IS ?

Folks,

I recently got hold of a second hand 70-200 F4 L IS USM. I love the quality but would like to extend the range somewhat.

I looked at the canon 1.4x II

But most places don't list the IS version as being compatible?

Anybody tried this combination ?

The 70-200 IS works fine with the 1.4.

There are a few compatible lenses still missing from the official list. IIRC, the 200mm f/2 and 800mm f/5.6 aren't on there either.
