My tokina 100mm macro atx pro keeps throwing out intermittent err01 messagages and its doing my head in, i've emailed and awaiting a reply for repair as its out of warrenty 
Anyway, this got me thinking if i was to splash out on a canon 100mmL macro if i'd notice much difference in image quality, the tokina is surprisingly sharp but i guess its that urge to buy a new shiney L lens
