I borrowed one of these from a friend a couple of years back when I first got into digital photography and the results were stunning. The best shot I have taken to date was with one of these. So wind the clock forward a couple of years, with a couple of quid in my pocket and a father in law who keeps buying primes for his Sony camera I thought I should invest or fall behind him.

So the 135 is on its way. I already have a 1.4 extender which might come in useful, I'm looking forward to it arriving.

Have many of you guys got one and if so I would love to see a couple of the shots you have taken with it.

I use one as my short lens for football.. plenty other sports togs also use it :)

So, how does the Canon lens compare to the Nikon version??
 
Bought mine from an Ebay shop in the UK. Got it for £749, overnight the guy increased the price to £849. I haven't got it yet, should arrive in a few days. Let's hope the transaction goes through ok and he doesn't expect the extra £100

135 for nikon is only with DC ... but Ive heard only good things about it :)
as it is really hard to get ( sometimes you need to wait over 1 month if not longer!! after you register your interest in it...)
I had no time so I bought 105 f2.0 and Im happy with it :)
Once I have some money put on a side, I will hunt down 135 and eventually sell 105 :)


I find 135 perfect focal lenght for myself ;)
