Canon 15-85 Lens..

If I walked out of a shop with a new EOS 7D and a 15-85 kit lens fitted, is that the same 15-85 lens that I would pay £530 for, or are they different lens.
Anyone know?

I was nearly about to buy one yesterday and he took the 15-85 lens out of a EOS 7D box and then started to put into a Canon 15-85 box, so I left it and said no thanks..

I've only got a poor old 60D mate..

Same sensor as the 7D - you're only missing the AF system so it should still be cracking (I have one on my 7D)
