Canon 15-85 Macro Shots

hi this may sound silly but am i able to get a extender for my 15-85 to do some macro shots i will be buying a 100mm 2.8 soon but is their anything i can use for my 15-85 in the mean time? or what magnification filters does anyone recommend?

Extension tubes is the easiest way to be able to focus closer with your 15-85

I used some el cheapo ones from eBay, the only drawback is that they have no electronic connections. Kenko do a set with connections http://www.kenkoglobal.com/TP-AUTO-EX-TUBE-SET-DG.html but they cost around £120 which you could put towards a proper Macro Lens.
