Canon 15mm fisheye

Evening all

I'd like your thoughts on the Canon 15mm fisheye lens, more specifically when used in conjunction with a 1.6x crop body. A friend once hired one for his 5Dmk2, and it looked awesome. I'd be looking into getting it for extreme sports photography (& video once I get a 7D!)

If anyone has some sample pics they'd be willing to share, that'd be grand

Sigma 10mm is much better on a crop. Check the skate shots in my portfolio on site (link in sig) Most of them were taken on a Sigma 10mm and a 40D. You will not get a true fisheye effect with the 15mm. Or if you want to splash out there is the new canon fisheye zoom L lens, but that is serious cash.

I had a Sigma 15mm fisheye and was told by a few Canon using mates that my lens was nicer than the Canon 15mm to use and made nicer images.
