Canon 16-35mm - 82mm to 77mm Filters

Hi guys,

Just a quick question regarding filters. Canon 6D, looking at the 16-35mm. Has anyone have experience with 82mm to 77mm Stepdown rings. I have 77mm BW polariser, UV, and a 10 Stop. Never used step down rings to fit filters before so wondering about vignetting around at 16mm?

So I'm wondering will a step down ring 82mm to 77mm be fine or do i need to consider buying all new filters :s. Tried searching but can't find too much information.

It will definitely vignette at the wide end of the zoom range. I can't tell you how much though, because I've never bought a step-down ring for exactly this reason.

If you want a nice lens like the 16-35 or the 24-70 Mk II, then buying 82mm filters is part of the cost.
