I wonder if anyone has had this happen before, and if so what was the cause before I ship the camera off to CPS at Elstree for repairs.
As soon as you switch the camera on it starts taking images. Neither of the shutter button appear stuck down or any other obvious problems. The shutters still working and continues to take images on to the card, but the only way to stop it is to physically turn the off switch on the back.
The camera is due a service anyway and probably getting near to its shutter life but the shutter does'nt seem to be at fault.
Have removed and re-inserted the main battery but no change. Have not taken out the backup battery though
Any ideas please
