I after a replacement battery for my canon 1d MKIIn
anyone had any experiences with third party batteries or should i buy genuine canon?
where best place to buy from?

I agree. The 7dayshop ones are fine, every bit as good and a fraction of the price of the originals.

I guess it's the same NP-E3 that the 1Ds takes? The &Day shop replacements cost £12.99 posted, just took delivery of 3 today, spoke to a few guys who have used them and recommend them. For the price they seem worth a try.

thanks guys and gals.
as always very helpful.
does the canon charger charge them. only ask as i looked at the other thread on here ref MKIII batteries.

I never had any problems charging non OEM batteries when I had my 1DIIN. And I never heard of anyone that did so I think you'll be OK. I was surprised at the thing with charging mark III batteries though. But I haven't heard much about it.

cheers
Bill

I use 7dayshop ones. Over 700 shots before i recharge, still not run one flat! Abou £15 each!!
