found this from canon website, wonder if anyone has tried it - saving raw to one card and jpg to another?

The EOS-1D Mark II N, EOS-1D Mark III, EOS-1Ds Mark III and EOS-1D Mark IV have a little trick in their armoury that adds to the advantages of shooting RAW and JPEG simultaneously. These cameras have two media card slots – one for a CompactFlash (CF) card and one for a SecureDigital (SD) card. Unlike the EOS-1D Mark II, which also has two card slots, the newer EOS cameras are able to treat each card separately so you can save your RAW files to one card and your JPEG files to another. This is a big advantage as it allows the files to be kept separately. You can download the JPEG files quickly to a computer if you need to e-mail or print them immediately, leaving the RAW files for later

with eye-fi in SD slot and CF in other one, (not the pro, just the basic version) hey presto I found a solution to solve wireless file transmission problem.

What I need is a neat way to move around in studio, shooting and playing images right away to give model/audience instant feedback. USB tethering works, but messy, and until you trip over the cable...

Canon WFT-E4 II (for 5D markII) will work, will also set you back £600. I never see one used it in Focus on Imaging show.

eye-fi Pro will transmit RAW and jpg, but come on, you raw files will takes too long to
get to the PC.

So if I keep raw in CF(8G) and get an eye-fi 4g or even less to carry jpg-s, it will solve the problem.

I used to shoot Raw to the CF and JPG to SD on a 1D II N camera I used to use at work.

It was going to come in handy the other day as I'd planned to take some shots - keep the RAW CF card and simply hand my mate the SD card to take the JPG files away with him.

As you say - It was only after a lot of head scratching that I discovered my own 1D model (1 D Mark II) doesn't have this functionality.
