Not worth the risk IMO. Heathrow for instance has experts for just about every kind of imported product. As a friend of mine found out to his cost, they've even got a carpet boffin - and he can tell you the exact shop in Egypt you bought your nice, new, handmade rug from! And how much you really paid for it.
A carpet isn't exactly the sort of thing you'd bring on holiday though![]()
No they dont.I though 1-series bodies have an international warranty always?
And it'll be back to the US of A for any warranty work.
According to the calculator, there doesn't appear to be any import duty on the body, just vat. Strange - I had to pay both to import some RRS stuff.
