Just had a look at this as it came up a few times on this and other forums Its fully working... But by god the last owner did some damage ! he used metal key rings to hold his strap on and they have not just worn off the paint , but worn down the metal !! but its a bargain for someone who wants to bash it for a few years

If you where handy with spraying. You could sand . prime and paint the affected areas and make it look a lot better

This camera has not actually been used a lot. Just damaged heavily around the strap points.

Imagine the damage caused by large key"o" type rings rubbing against the body

Mine looks just as bad...but I couldn't give a monkeys...having rubbed paint is only a consideration if you're putting it on your mantlepiece.

I'm using mine week in, week out...it still takes pictures...THATS what matters.
