Canon 1dmkII Factory Reset Help Rqd.

I installed some user settings for my camera a little while ago & since having
a good look at my pics, I feel they are over saturated & just not 'right'.

Im sure ive seen in the handbook a procedure to reset the camera to factory
settings but the book has gone awol for now.

Any ideas please guys & gals?

no idea on the 1d mkII, but if it helps on the 40d it's called 'clear all camera settings' in the menu list

At the back of the camera below the screen there are 3 button's
<waste bin> Erase button, Image size selection button & <WB> white balance selection button.

According to the manual, press the Image size & white balance buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds and this should reset everything back to the camera default, page 42 of the manual.

For Custom and Personal functions clear settings, these can be found in the custom function menu

Couldnt find it on that page (page 36) but your instructions did the trick

Perhaps you should have tried page 42

Sorry, what I meant to say was that I found the reset instructions on page 36
of the pdf & not page 42
