Canon 20d- Memory question

Hi All,

Looking to buy some more memory for my camera, just wondering what's the fastest type worth buying. I know its a bit of an "old" camera now, so getting some Sandisk Extreme IV is probably not worth it. Any ideas what would be? (Looking at the Sandisk range as I have never had problems previously with them).

I used ultra II's and extreme III's in my 20d and a bog standard sandisk card and could not see any difference in write times between them and they all worked faultlessy too.

i use extreme III's in mine, keeps up with a burst of shots so will do for me..

So I can get 2GB - Sandisk Extreme III for £14 or 2GB - Sandisk Ultra II - PRICE SMASH! for £9.50

Which would you recommend? (or are those prices high?)

Nothing wrong with the 20D

A fast card will help keep it shooting a bit longer on continuous rapid fire mode..... but not a lot different to a standard card. you will notice a difference in the time taken to get a card full of images back on to your computer so a fast card will help there.

extreme 3 is probably the fastest you'll get for the 20D.
