Canon 230 v fuji 550exr

I've narrowed my choice down to these two. The Canon seems the obvious safe choice, but I'm curious about the exr sensor. Is it any good?
I'll mainly be using it out on the mountain bike, so will the exr be better in low light when using it in the trees? Is it worth the extra over the canon?
Not too bothered by the gps, but it could be handy.

Have you thought of the canon 220 its 50 pounds cheaper and only difference is it doesnt have gps, Perfect

Yes I've looked at the 220, I don't mind stretching the extra for the gps. Any thoughts on the exr?
