Out of general curiosity I was wondering which of these two people prefer?

I like both lenses. But, now I have a 24-105 I'm doubting that I would really use the other much.

I'm loving the 24-105, a lot more than I expected.

I have a 28-135 IS and I would sell to get a 24-105! The 24 is a L lens and im guessing its better for it. My 28 has come down in price ten fold since i got it so it seems pointless to sell it.
All that aside I did manage to produce this from it which i was happy about.

The 24-105 is the better lens. I've rarely used my 28-135 since getting a 24-70 but have kept hold of it due to a mix of 'just in case' and low resale values.

How much has the price fluctuated? I see they're going for £180-200 on ebay at the moment and £359 new.

i paid about £260 for mine and i thought they were selling in the low 100's would be happy if i could get £200

I hadn't checked eBay but believe they've been more like £125-£150 around here.

I had both a while back, 24 - 105 L all the way ! :-), handling and IQ where so much better, plus the constant F4 !
