Canon 300 2.8IS + two 1.4X TC's

Anyone had experience of the above combo?

I know the image quality is very good when used with one 1.4TC but i'd love to know what it's like when using two stacked together as I have heard this combo provides better performance than the single 2xTC.

As I already own a 1.4TC i'm in two minds whether to go for another or the 2x

Be aware that you can't stack Canon's 1.4x Extenders so one would have to be a Kenko or Sigma 1.4x to make up the group. The 2x extenders will stack and a 2x will fit onto a 1.4x but only one way around.

As Bob says, you can't stack Canon ones.
Seen something before from a 300 at around f8 i think it was with a Canon and a Kenko i'm sure it was? Image Quality was very poor, Close to mobile quality to be honest.
