I've got a canon mount sigma 35mm art and it is an amazing lens, verging on perfect. I'd actually place the image quality above a canon 300mm 2.8 ii that I owned at the same time.
The only thing I've heard is the af can need calibrating but I had no issues.
I shoot Nikon now but keep forgetting to put it up for sale...
I tried the siggy art 35, no doubt it is sharp, in fact very sharp. I didn't like it though, difficult to describe but the images produced were just too clinical for want of a better phrase. If being sharp is the only or main criteria then this is probably the lens to get.
