As your probably aware you do not get a lens hood with this lens. Found these on ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JJC-LH-72...IS-USM-Lens-/261952083424?hash=item3cfd8f95e0 - any good?
As this lens will be uses as a street/walk about lens it it worth buying a filter for it, to help protect it etc and if so what should I buy?
Edit: skip the filter idea, lens hood should give all the protection I need and unless I spend a lot of money the filter will only have a negative effect on the lens
