Canon 400 f5.6L dimensions???

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what the diameter of the lens hood on this one is please? A picture with dimensions would be ideal. I'm going to try and have a crack at photographing the Venus transit next week (weather permitting of course) and I need to make a custom filter holder. As I will be renting the lens I don't have it in my grubby little mitts just yet so I'm trying to get this done before its too late.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The rubber protection ring on the end of the hood is 81mm internal and 90mm external.....the actual metal sleeve is 87.5mm o.d
