Yes this has been posted before but I have read somewhere that import duty may be liable on this purchase..:shrug:

If this is a fixed price with no import duty then Play will sell a lot of cameras..

Ah rightio - guess you're right. Will Digital Dave or whatever he's called, refund the duty?

Just to clarify - the price on play of 469.99 (body only) is liable for VAT when imported into mainland UK. Play are in Jersey. So the price you will pay is 552.00 with the VAT. There is no import duty on digital cameras but there is on film cameras bizarrley! Digital Rev say they will refund any import duty / VAT on reciept of a scan of the customs document within 24 hrs! That makes them cheaper by £29 accounting for their delivery charge and insurance. AND THEY'VE GOT THEM NOW
