Canon 400d Wide Angle lens

Hi there:wave:

As title states. Im looking to get a wide angle lens for my Canon EOS 400d.

It will be used for sports, people and for photographing cars, as I am becoming involved in the detailing business (y)

I'm looking for a decent lens, but also with a decent price tag.

If anyone could help with any names, links, etc? It would be much appreciated.

Sigma 10-20mm. The best value wide angle lens you can get. Beware the most shots with a wide angle will look distorted, especially at the edges of the frame, and so for people groups, this may be an issue.
 
Agree with the above, can't go wrong with the sigma, have ordered myself one today.
 
Sigma 10-20, or Canon EF-S 10-22 if you can afford it.

By the way, the spelling is lens.
 
Tokina 12-24 gets my vote
