see these are on offer at the moment and think i want one... would make an amazing travel / compact solution ! but im worried it may be a bit 'tight' on the 60d... (going with the crop factor what 60mm ? ) i use the 17-50 most of the time but love the appeal of something so light and small! anyone used one ? any comments ?

I bought a 40mm to go with the wifes 650D, mainly for the AF while videoing, but I've also used it for stills on the 650D, a 60D, a 7D and a 5D3 and it's a very capable lens. Obviously it depends on your subject as to whether it's 'tight' but I've had no problems with it. It's a great street lens as it's unobtrusive and you can get some great portraits with it.

Just bought one for my 7D - looks a bit like a thick lens cap! Makes my 7D almost pocketable. Very useful for walkabout photography in London.
