Canon 450D FPS issue

Basically in continoues shoot it will do bursts of two, then miss one then two again.

I thought it was my card but in jessops today their display model fired like a rocket compared to mine and they had the sane big standard card in.

Any advice?

Oh so it's definitely a camera issue. I thought it was a little strange when you said it was slow when writing to the card. Is it covered under warranty still? You know what to do I don't know what you could do apart from maybe refresh firmware (haven't tried that before).

Yes it's only 6 month old

Turn the High ISO noise reduction off? I believe that slows it up enormously.

Found it, it works!

Yes I was, but even with S it was still the same, changed the above setting and works perfect on all setting
