Canon 500D - HD Video Question, Re: Lens?

Hey Guys & Girls,

Planning on buying a Canon 500D from Amazon in a couple of weeks and it comes complete with the 18-55mm lens.

A couple of questions if I may:

1) What is the 500D video quality like?
2) Can you use any lens with the video mode (eg. I have a Sigma 70-200mm) lens - could I use this for video or does it have to be a special lens?

Good and yes. Biggest problem is you either have to autofocus (and get noise on your clip) or manual focus (difficult) as there is no continuous autofocus. Quality is very good though
