Canon 50D problem, please help.

Right just got my 50d home, had a play, and now there are red squares on my pictures where the focus point are.

How do I get that sorted :-s

also, when I change the exposure level by the button next to the top screen, it adjusts but won't set. The only way it changes is if I use the big screen?

Any advice welcome

Do you mean when they are printed?

If it's on the rear screen,

goto the menu, fourth one along (blue) and 'disable the AF point disp'

Ahhh thank you. Knew it had to be somthing silly.

switch the power button to the second stage, half press the shutter button and then use the large wheel at the rear.
