Canon 5D III everyday Lens, what's yours?

I am now a proud owner of a 5D III and also have a 7D
My everyday lens on the 7D was a 17.55.2.8 EFS

Now this will not fit the 7d, so will be looking for another everyday lens.

I shoot a lot indoors. I have had a 24-105 before but had the error 01 and that as put me off getting another.


So question is What other good lens can I get not fussed about it been Canon.
 
Indoor the Tamron 24-70, outdoor either the 70-200 2.8 or the 50-500OS - both have great range.
 
Every day lens for mine is the 24-105mm... It's a cracking lens and my copy is incredibly sharp!

Having said that, the EF50mm f/1.4 produces lovely results and is rarely very far away from the camera! :)

What Copy do you have ? Didn't no they did a copy.
 
What he meant was the lens he got, when manufactured there is a slight tolerance in quality control so not all 24-105s will be the same, so his "copy" is sharp whereas someone else's might not be.

24-105 here also, not minding the f/4 aperture due to the tremendous high iso performance. I've got primes for the big apertures when I need it.
