Canon 5D Mirror failure at altitude

So this is what it looks like when the mirror of a Canon 5D Mk1 decides to detach itself from its mount when you're 300m up a fairly well-known tall building in the centre of London

Fortunately I was able to switch to my backup camera.

I think Canon are still doing their repair programme for this fault. Guess I'll find out tomorrow
