I have a friend with a 5D mk 1 which she says is stuck on -1.5 stops exposure compensation and she can not correct it. I t does not respond when pressing the shutter half down and turning the adjustment wheel. Any ideas please.
 
Does the wheel still work to dial other functions?
 
Checking the obvious but.....has she put on/off switch to the max up position (past the ON position to the LINE)

Ive just tried to see if there's a combo of mode and/or menu setting that might turn off the ex comp and failed. I will keep thinking and post back if any idea is better than daft.
