Canon 5D Mk I Focusing problem

Hi All just wondering if somebody may be able to me troubleshoot an issue I'm having my 5D.

To cut a long story short last week I experienced the known mirror adhesive fault, actioned a self repair as I was desperate, and since then 5 of the 9 auto focus points will not work.

I'm completely stumped and can only think it's something to do with how I have refitted the mirror, I have since changed the focusing screen but still no luck.

Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would get it sent for a proper repair, the mirror has to be exactly in place.

The mirror repair is still free ( I had mine done a couple of weeks ago). Although not sure if your home repair well effect it.

Mine fell off just about 6 weeks ago, was fixed free of charge under their policy.

Stop messing about with it and take it in.. They changed the entire mirror assembly for me (and the shutter because I asked for it - and they charged just for the shutter parts).
