Yes
Just recently purchased my first FF, a 5d classic, it had recently been serviced and was a trusted seller. Unfortunately ive sent it back this morning as in AV mode all the pictures were washed out no matter what WB setting it was on, it worked fine in M though even then turning the wheel wouldn't change the F stop.
Just wanted to check it was a fault or was i doing something wrong? The first picture using my 60d av f4 second picture same settings 5d sigma 70mm macro

Now not sure whether to try another one or save a bit more for a mkii

no afraid not as i say both av, f4 both set to cloudy wb, shutter speed around 40 on both and both with the sigma 70mm macro. I tried it with 100-300 to and still getting same results, could only get correct colours when set to M

Did you try resetting the camera to factory default and clearing custom settings (they are separate)

I can't understand the results if the camera settings were the same in both cameras (same aperture/shutter speed/ISO/lens - can't confirm this without the exif in the original files). If the aperture mechanism wasn't working on the 5D then at worst the image would be overexposed by a stop (f/2.8 rather than f/4), but it looks far worse than that.

Make sure the power switch is fully on up to the white line otherwise the control wheel won't work
Similarly the rear wheel could have been set to change focus points hence my asking did you reset the camera

That could be the problem, did you clear the custom settings, factory reset doesn't cover them
