canon 5d shutter count

Hi

I am on a mac. Does anyone know how I can work out how many shots my canon 5d has taken

It numbers the pictures sequentially but loops round at 10k. Mine then created a new folder with a 1 on the end for the next lot, that might help.

There is no way to know that information using regular software. The camera could have been reset so, only on a Canon centre they can tell you.

The only Canon cameras which allow you to know the true shutter count, are the Series 1 digital models.
