hi,

anybody had any practical experience of shooting with both of these bodies? put simplify i'm trying to canvass user opinions on whether the produced picture quality found between them is really any different (i appreciate the digic 4 / digic 3 and video are obvious trumps for the 5D) and whether there are any noticeable benefits when shooting with either of these bodies under favorable (clear/bright/well lit) light settings?

I've owned both and much preferred the 1DS3 for low iso shooting.Difficult to say exactly why but the pictures just had a creamier quality to them than the digitally looking 5D2 files.It could have just been all in my head though.When you spend so much on a camera your head tells you the images should be better.
